What We Do

RISE

Supporting students in partnership with District 203.

In partnership with Naperville 203, RISE addresses the unique needs that arise when a student has significant mental health and behavioral needs that impact the ability to access and participate in our schools’ high quality education.

RISE has two main components:

  • Removing barriers to mental health services by providing onsite services to eligible students before, during, and after the school day.
  • Developing a comprehensive community wraparound process that allows Naperville 203 to be responsive and flexible to the individual needs of students and families in crisis and the many barriers they can encounter when trying to access the services.

NEF's role in RISE supports the wraparound process. Your gifts can, for example, provide financial assistance for basic needs such as transportation, shelter, clothing, advocacy courses, specialized counseling, parent education, or learning English.

Contact your school for more information.

The RISE program is made possible with the support of our partner, Endeavor Health Community Investment Fund.
