September has officially arrived! The weather may be cooling down, but TEAM NEF is heating up!
News and Updates
With over 250 Charity Heroes running or walking for TEAM NEF, we have already reached 40% of our $100,000 goal. TEAM NEF still needs your help to cross the finish line of the Healthy Driven Naperville Half Marathon or 5k on October 17!
Support your favorite Naperville 203 school or TEAM NEF member on the "see who's running list" by helping them reach their fundraising goal of $203 or more.
Shout out to Steeple Run Elementary School, who is leading the pack with almost $5,000 already raised! You go, Super Stars!
Half of the funds raised go directly to the Naperville 203 school of their choice with half going to support district-wide NEF programs that support each school's unique community, bring great ideas to life, and remove barriers to learning for the students of Naperville 203.

In memory of NNHS educator Kathleen Williams, NEF was honored to shine our #NEFSpotlight on the Naperville North High School Math Department.
"In March, the NNHS Math Department lost one of our dearest colleagues and friends, Kathleen Williams. Kathleen was an amazing mom, wife, daughter, sister, coworker, and friend. She was absolutely one of a kind and brought a smile and positivity with her wherever she went. Her compassion, love, generosity, and drive is fueling the inspiration for 16 members of the NNHS Math Department to get motivated, get training, and take on the Healthy Driven Naperville Half Marathon & 5K! Kathleen was a dedicated runner and ran for TEAM NEF to raise funds for our schools, so we wanted to celebrate and honor her by doing the same. We know she will be with us in spirit as we cross that finish line! Thank you in advance for supporting us, and the students of Naperville School District 203!"
