Guests experienced the impact that gifts to NEF have on student lives.

On March 22, more than 350 guests joined us for NEF's 30th Building a Passion breakfast, raising more than $100,000 to unlock doors to opportunity for our students.

Guests experienced the impact that gifts to NEF have on student lives, enjoyed a district-wide art project, and unlocked doors to opportunity with their generosity at the event, emceed by Kaylin Risvold, Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce President & CEO.

Guests heard the stories of:

The excitement, teamwork, and responsibility that come with being part of a FIRST LEGO League robotics team

The impact of a mural at Jefferson Junior High funded through an Annual Grant on the sense of belonging for students at a school where 47 different languages are spoken

The RISE program's work to remove barriers to learning for students with significant needs by assisting families as well as students with funding for wraparound community services

And gratitude to all individuals, corporations and organizations who choose to support our students, with special recognition of Molex for support of robotics, Edward-Elmhurst Health’s Community Investment Fund for support of RISE, and Gail Niermeyer, Coldwell Banker Realty for longtime volunteerism and support.
