On March 22, more than 350 guests joined us for NEF's 30th Building a Passion breakfast, raising more than $100,000 to unlock doors to opportunity for our students.
Guests experienced the impact that gifts to NEF have on student lives, enjoyed a district-wide art project, and unlocked doors to opportunity with their generosity at the event, emceed by Kaylin Risvold, Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce President & CEO. |

Guests heard the stories of: |
| |
The impact of a mural at Jefferson Junior High funded through an Annual Grant on the sense of belonging for students at a school where 47 different languages are spoken |
| |
The RISE program's work to remove barriers to learning for students with significant needs by assisting families as well as students with funding for wraparound community services |
| |
And gratitude to all individuals, corporations and organizations who choose to support our students, with special recognition of Molex for support of robotics, Edward-Elmhurst Health’s Community Investment Fund for support of RISE, and Gail Niermeyer, Coldwell Banker Realty for longtime volunteerism and support. |
