Congratulations to the 2023 Naperville 203 scholarship winners! NEF is proud to administer various scholarships each year to graduating seniors from Naperville North and Naperville Central High Schools.

INCubator Pitch Night Winners

NEF is proud to support an authentic, collaborative, entrepreneurship experience for high school students through Business INCubatoredu@D203!

On May 11, student business teams presented their entrepreneurial ideas for the chance to take their projects to the next level. Judges awarded funding to the following student business teams:

• Hooked: A portable backpack hanger that hooks to any table or surface
• Gymlada, a fitness subscription box service tailored to individuals' fitness goals
• YooperSticks, a Michigan-themed outdoor bowling game combining strategy and friendly competition

Annual Grant Winner

Congratulations to 2023 Annual Grant winner Mr. Positano from Elmwood Elementary for his project entitled Grab-a-Lab! Thank you Mr. Positano for encouraging STEM learning at Elmwood!

Walk or run as part of TEAM NEF's 10th Anniversary team and support your school!

Join the group of parents, teachers, staff, community members, and students who will run or walk in the Healthy Driven Naperville Half Marathon, 10K or 5K on Sunday, October 22 as Charity Heroes, raising funds to for their favorite Naperville 203 school and NEF. All runners and walkers welcome! 

• Great perks! $7 race registration discount, race day shirt, race day headquarters at Naperville Central, steps from the starting line, with clean restrooms, food, snacks, gear check and parking!
• NEW DISTANCE! The race includes a 10k distance option! Join us for the Healthy Driven Naperville Half Marathon, 10k or 5k! Walkers and runners, new or experienced, are ALL welcome!
• Support your favorite school! Each TEAM NEF member commits to raising at least $203 with half of the funds going to the Naperville 203 school of their choice, and the other half to district-wide programs funded by NEF. All funds raised can also go to NEF.
• Join with a family member! $203 fundraising commitment for an individual and a $30 fundraising commitment for each additional family member who joins the team! (Family members do not all need to participate in support of the same school.)

Thank you to our NEF Student Ambassadors Emmery Clements from Naperville Central and Faye Tyschper from Naperville North for your years of service on our Board and congratulations on your graduation! We are grateful for your ideas, information, positive attitudes and professionalism.  

Know someone who would be a great NEF Student Ambassador?

Be a liaison/voice between NEF and your high school, develop your leadership skills and give back to the Naperville 203 community. 

Applications for 2 student ambassadors, one from NCHS and one from NNHS, are being accepted through June 2.
