Sponsor the FIRST LEGO League in-district tournament

NEF supports FIRST LEGO League (FLL) at all 14 elementary schools and 5 middle schools. These programs increase the number of students who have learning experiences with science, technology, engineering and mathematics outside the school day.

Over 500 students are able to participate at no cost to them or their schools. Your support helps to cover the costs of robotics kits, competition tables, team registrations, coaches' stipends and the in-district elementary tournament.

Sponsorships for the in-district elementary tournament are now available. Learn more about sponsorship levels and support STEM experiences for Naperville 203 students.

Before & After School Program allocations

Before & After School Program funding provides opportunities for students in elementary through high school to extend educational experiences beyond the bell by funding extracurriculars that may exist outside the school's budget.

Each school determines the program that best fits the needs of their student population and NEF funding supports Naperville 203 staff to run the program.

Some Before & After School Programs running this year include:

  • Community Resource Center at Naperville Central: Will support over 100 students to establish and foster positive relationships, increase belonging and build skills needed to have success in the educational environment.
  • Homework Club at Washington Junior High: Will provide students with targeted math and literacy support after school.
  • Homework Club at Jefferson Junior High: Will provide students with support to be successful in their content classes and demonstrate progress toward their math and reading goals outside of the school day.

School Appreciation Grants have been distributed to nearly all schools.Thank you to each school community for supporting Naperville 203 students!

Earlier this month, NEF Trustees Kristin Porter and Meena Banasiak presented Jefferson Junior High with their 2024-25 School Appreciation Grant.
