Study Skills Academy

This district-wide program grew from a grant awarded to Maplebrook and Mill Street Elementary Schools in 2004 and currently assists more than 2,600 students each year.

NEF now annually finances a Study Skills Academy in each of District 203’s elementary, junior high and high schools. To expand its work benefiting students, the NEF Study Skills Academy is designed by each school to meet the unique learning needs of its students, helping youngsters become successful, life-long learners.

Also known as “Homework Club,” “Math Club,” “Early Birds” and “SOS: Supervised Open Study,” your gift helps this before/after school program enrich student learning.
