Grant Classroom

You provide the great ideas. NEF provides the funds. Together, we create opportunities for the students of Naperville 203.

There are two ways to fund your ideas: Express Grants and Annual Grants.

Express Grants meet the immediate need to fund an idea, while Annual Grants fund ideas for the following school year.


  • Initiated by a D203 staff member or student and support at least one D203 school
  • Approved by the Principal
  • Aligned to your school’s Improvement Plan and/or to a curricular area or standard

Grants since 1992

Since its founding in 1992, the Naperville Education Foundation has awarded nearly 1,000 grants representing over $1,000,000 in support of creative, innovative and excellent projects that stimulate student engagement and learning experiences. The committees evaluating the grant requests are made up of representatives from the Foundation, District 203 staff, and our community.
