You provide the great ideas. NEF provides the funds. Together, we create opportunities for the students of Naperville 203.

There are two ways to fund your ideas: Express Grants and Annual Grants. Express Grants meet the immediate need to fund an idea. Annual Grants fund ideas for the following school year.

For many years, the Naperville Education Foundation and the Jeanine Nicarico Memorial Literacy Fund have been honored to fund the innovative ideas submitted through their separate Annual Grant Awards programs. Since the 2018-2019 school year, NEF and the Jeanine Nicarico Memorial Literacy Fund have a joint effort to launch their annual grant cycles in a joint communication and follow the same timeline.

Grants since 1992

Since its founding in 1992, the Naperville Education Foundation has awarded nearly 1,000 grants representing over $1,000,000 in support of creative, innovative and excellent projects that stimulate student engagement and learning experiences. The committees evaluating the grant requests are made up of representatives from the Foundation, District 203 staff, and our community.
