Coming in the 2026-27 school year!

NEF is thrilled to announce the Kid Booster Resource Center, an extension of the Kid Booster Anonymous program. 

Since 1996, Kid Booster Anonymous has been providing students with critical, confidential support and essential resources to ensure every student has what they need to succeed—academically, physically, and emotionally.

In partnership with our school-based mental health professionals, we are establishing a dedicated, centralized Resource Center that will provide essential items for students—basic clothing, winter gear, and personal care supplies.

This space will be housed at Connections Transition Services and operated by students from the Naperville 203 special needs community, providing inclusive, hands-on vocational training.

Connections students are currently using their skills to run several micro-businesses. Check out how these opportunities impact them here. 

When a student's basic needs are met, they can focus, they are ready to learn, and they can thrive.

The benefits of the Kid Booster Resource Center:

• For students: Ensuring consistent, timely access to essential resources for students, while supporting their dignity and confidentiality. Additionally, it provides hands-on vocational training for Naperville 203 special needs students. 
• For staff: Simplifying access to materials for staff by providing storage and a centralized resource. 
• For community: Sharing resources across the community, both enhancing community avenues of support and ensuring the right items reach students at the right time. 

All requests for items will be coordinated and submitted exclusively by Naperville 203 school-based mental health professionals.
