Thanks for another great school year!

As the school year comes to a close, NEF is grateful for your support. Together, we are helping Naperville 203 students make the most of their education!

Congratulations, Class of 2026 Scholarship Recipients!

This year, NEF was proud to administer over $120,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors from Naperville North and Naperville Central High Schools.

INCubatoredu Pitch Night

NEF is proud to support entrepreneurship experiences for Naperville Central and Naperville North High School students through Business INCubatoredu!

On May 7, Naperville Central and Naperville North High School INCubatoredu students showcased their entrepreneurial spirit in the annual Pitch Night competition. At Pitch Night, students compete for the chance to win additional funding to take their businesses to the next level in a Shark Tank style event. 

The Advisory Council awarded funding to the following teams:

First place: Plant Pal - $3,000

Second Place: Looped - $2,000

Third Place: Kalm - $1,000

Express Grants in Action

In November, NEF approved an Express Grant titled "Frisbee & Soccer Golf Equipment" by River Woods Elementary teacher Joe DeRooi. The grant funded the purchase of equipment for frisbee and soccer golf equipment. 

"The equipment provided by NEF allowed students to learn about kicking and force in a collaborative environment and gave students the opportunity to engage in physical activity in an outdoor setting," DeRooi shared. "Through gameplay and etiquette expectations, students also engaged in social-emotional learning within their group, including building relationship skills, demonstrating self awareness, and exhibiting responsible decision making."
