In November, NEF awarded an Express Grant titled "Screen Printing in the Art Room" from Highlands Elementary teacher Kyle Wood.
This grant funded the purchase of screen printing equipment, allowing students to make more complex art. The equipment will also be used to create Field Day t-shirts for the entire school.
"The equipment has made it far easier for students of every age to be highly successful in an art medium that few elementary students experience, so I am extremely appreciative of NEF and their continued support of my students," Wood told NEF. |
